Short description of error

When in Local View, Bsurfaces will not generate a mesh (instead generates random curves and switches from Edit Mode to Object Mode). Comes up with the following error:

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Open default scene. Select default cube, then hit numpad / to go into Local View, then go into Edit Mode. Delete all vertices of default cube. Hold down D to draw the lines that will be the loops in your generated mesh (make sure you draw the strokes in the same direction). Click 'Add Surface'.

(Attached .blend has most of the steps done; all you need to do is press 'Add Surface' in the T menu)
