Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

Short description of error
Viewer function of NodeWrangler addon (SHIFT+CTRL+CLICK on node) changes node linking but results are not updated in Material Shading mode. It shows results made by last manual linking of nodes OR work if Undo operation is invoked. In Rendered mode everything works fine.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
