Win10Pro x64, 5GB ram, Radeon 5700, Blender 2.78a

FBX exported from Modo failed to import into Blender.
Switching to system console there is a bunch of warnings while reading meshes: "User property type 'stringlist' is not supported."
After that importing materials gives AssertionError.

have you cross referenced the file in other programs? does it open with autocad max/maya?

the assertion error seems to indicate there's no material on the object?

I have tried to import provided file into 3DS Max and it looks like everything works as expected. Different objects have different colors so it is likely that materials are there as well.

Maya however, warned me that it is unable to import some materials and they will be converted to Phong. After importing most of the materials were gone.

Just for curiosity sake I've tried to export provided model from Max to Blender using FBX format again and Blender seemed to stuck on import. Tried to export-import again with one simple material and it got imported successfully. Hope this will help with something.

P.S.
Is this a W40K model? Looks like something from The Lord Inquisitor Prologue.

Never saw those stringlist props so far… but that is not an issue, will just be ignored.

Problem here is the material without Properties70 element… So far assumed this was illegal, would look like it is not in the end. :/
