Hi I noticed this issue. I guess it is easy for to fix.
System Information
Windows 10 GTX 980

Blender Version
Broken: 2.79

Short description of error
eyes and nose bones are parented to ear bones

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Add Armature> Animals> Horse
  2. Pose mode
  3. select earL and move
  4. Eyes and nose bones move with the earL bone too because they are parented to the earL bone.
  5. When you animate ears eyes and nose bones will move too.

Thanks,

Hello,

Can confirm the bug.

For more information :

  • This is a Rigify bug
  • Bug can be confirm after rig generation, because nozes & eyes are linked to ORG-ear.L

@odieyama : Do you know that you have to generate rig before using it for animation? You forgot to specify this step in your bug reproduce steps.

Julien

Confirm the issue, just a metarig parenting problem. It's an easy fix, just need to re-encode metarig.

this should fix the issue.
@angavrilov, please just replace the horse.py in the metarigs/Animals/ rigify folder
horse.py
