System Information
Windows 10, Windows 7; graphics card: NVidia GT670, GeForce550 TI

Blender Version
Broken: 2.80 Alpha 2
Worked: 2.79

Short description of error
Problem when exporting to FBX and then opening in unreal engine 4. When I export only the mesh and bones is all right, but if you then export the animation that unreal engine shows the error "! Imported bone transform is different from the original."and the model with the animation has a size of 1 centimeter or less. But if you import ANIMATION in Unreal Engine to put scale 100 then all is well. I think there is an error in setting the scale when exporting the animation. There are no problems in Blender 2.79.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on a (as simple as possible) attached .blend file with minimum amount of steps

  1. In scene poperties set: unit system: metric; Length: Centimeters.

  2. Create a BOX

  3. Create 2 bones inside in box.

  4. Attach box to armature.

  5. Make simple animation.

  6. Export to FBX:

  In Main:
      Select MESH, ARMATURE
      Select Forward: Y forward
  In Geometrics:
      Select smoothing: Face
  In ARMATURES:
      Uncheck all
  1. Open Unreal Engine 4
  2. Try to Import with default settings;

Now you will see en Error "! Imported bone transform is different from the original. ... " and in content browser you will see Mesh, Skeleton, PhysicsAsset are normal and Amin has a problem. The Mesh Anim is too small.

Please have a look at #50159 and especially #51704 and continue discussion there.
(I havent run through the pipeline, not 100% sure a perfect solution exists now, but there is useful information there and no need to have a duplicate report open...)

feel free to comment again if this report has something substantially different though
