Blender Version
Broken:
2.8, 21.01.2019
Short description of error
changing settings of curve extra object in 2D environment floods viewport with error messages; unable to quit blender from there regularly. I had to stop the process on the PC system level.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open Blender 2D preset,
enable Curve:extra objects-addon,
switch to object mode,
add Suzanne (mesh, not GP),
apply "Bounce spline" in the t-panel,
change the "Bounces"-settings in the popup and
try to close Blender.

I can't reproduce the issue you are describing.
Please check if it still exists in the newest version of Blender.
Also please upload the error message (at least a part of it).
Yepp, in the recent version it's gone. Thanks and sorry for pulling you off of your awesome work for nothing.
