Delete Branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
System Information
Operating system: Win 10
Graphics card: 1080
Blender Version
Broken: 2.81a
Short description of error
Create some actions, go to the Blender File browser and select one, hit x to delete. Nothing happens. Right click and select delete (which shows 'x' as the shortcut) and select delete, it works.
Notes on deleting actions, AFAIK this is the only way to quickly delete actions and/or animations, Blender really wants to create new ones but not delete old ones. This is good because lost work is something to avoid, but it's a little too hard to get rid of the extra ones that get unintentionally created. Clearing the users, saving/closing and reopening the file does not work, despite reports to the contrary (that's much more trouble too). Anyhow just thought I'd piggyback a request to make managing these easier.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
See above.

I assume by "Blender File" browser, you mean the outliner?
The
x
next to it is actually an icon and not a shortcut. So I don't think this is a bug.Changed status from 'Archived' to: 'Resolved'
Ah, yes thanks, I thought it looked a little non typographic.
