Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

Short description of error
When we export a model in gltf / glb but enable the compression feature in Blender, the output models appear corrupt, they do not load in other 3D applications. Tested on many apps and all failed to load the compressed version, while the none compressed version works fine. Need the compression for mobile/bandwidth critical applications.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
load a 3D model, then try to export the model to gLTF while enabling the Compression feature, this feature seems to corrupt the 3D models, if I do not enable this, it works fine. So something happens when the compression is enabled that messes up the files. this is true for glb or other options from the drop down menu
