Operating system: Ubuntu 20.04
Graphics card: Radeon RX 570

Broken: Blender 2.83
Worked: Blender 2.82

As soon as Blender updated on Ubuntu 18.04 files became non readable. It sees them as blend but wont open projects. After system reinstall to Ubuntu 20.4, same thing. After blender blank launch files can be opened with "Open" within, but as cold launch from a blend file it wont bother. Doesn't matter if it's previous version file or freshly saved one, doesn't work either way. Everything works on Windows 10, seems like Linux issue when a code doesn't fire up a blend file when blender is launching.
