Having issue with placing alpha channel decals on a model, and parenting with image decals does not work #77879

System Information
Operating system: Windows 10 64 bit
Graphics card: Intel HD Graphics 510. (the simple workstation) Nvidia GForce GTX970 (the Big i7 rendering machine)

Blender Version
Broken: 2.80 & 2.83
(example: 2.79b release)
(example: 2.80, edbf15d3c044, blender2.8, 2018-11-28, as found on the splash screen)
Worked: (optional)

Short description of error
For some reason, i try to apply decal work on a model, and the decals will not stick to the model, even when i tried creating a parenting relationship. What happens is, the decals lettering would not move with the model that decals were mapped when i would move to a new keyframe location.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

Hi Philipp Oeser

The Addon used was the "import Image as Plane, " and used modifiers "Subdivision Surface" and "Shrinkwrap" Cube_Test-_Decal_Doesn't_Stick.blend. I added a test blender file of a simple cube with the png alpha file used.
