Greetings;
The progression: The Bool Tool was working fine until about 2 weeks ago, then it would work sometimes but not always. Now It does not work correctly at all. I am not sure what has changed, if there was a software update or something changed in my environment.
For example: I was trying to cut a 38 mm x 2 mm Cylinder in half with a 42mm square cude. I created both objects in a new session. I lined the objects up for my cut, next selected the Cube (as the cutter) then selected the clyinder.
1st attempt: Auto - Slice - the cube disappeared and I got a second copy of the entire cylinder
2nd attempt: Auto - Difference - what was left was an object 38.5 x .0001 x 0 labelled Cylinder.
I also tried brush boolean for both Slice and difference with the same results.
