Short description of error
Adding a mesh from Add Mesh: Extra Objects addon in EditMode removes the modifiers of the current object, in contrast to "Add Curve: Extra Objects"

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Activate Add Mesh: Extra Objects addon
add a modifier to the default cube
enter edit mode
add a mesh from Add Mesh: Extra Objects addon
modifier is gone
