Graphics card: MSI RX 5700xt Mech Oc

Blender Version
Broken: 2.90.1
(example: 2.79b release)
(example: 2.80, edbf15d3c044, blender2.8, 2018-11-28, as found on the splash screen)

Short description of error
I tried to install the AMD RPR version 2.5.1 on blender 2.90.1. After i checked the box in the add-on list, It froze blender and did not save preferences.
