Thanks for the report - we need at least console output to be able to debug - or if the addon reports an error in the UI, please upload a screenshot.

Here is an image of the console - it appears the issue reported is with an SSL certificate error - I received this error when clicking on one of the categories in the Blenderkit N panel toolkit.

Thanks for the screenshot - since this is an SSL issue I consulted with our server developer. And according to him this points to one of these possible problems:

  • mixed up ssl certificates
  • wrong time settings on your system
  • broken install of ssl libraries
. Do you use any other addons that use internet connection? Do you have any special firewall, or company network settings?
BlenderKit only uses python requests library and does very standard communication.

Hi Vilem,

I don't know how to check for mixed up ssl certificates - any suggestions?

The time on my system is set properly - but I'm getting this issue on more that one computer.

I'm having no other issues with other SSL certificates or https links so I don't see how it could be an issue with my ssl library.
I'm not aware of any other addons that are using the Internet, but I will selectively disable and each one and try Blenderkit. I'm using a personal computer and don't have a special firewall, I'm using McAfee - but I disabled that temporarily and still received the same error.

Update - I checked Blenderkit on my desktop and it is working. The issue seems to be limited to my Zbook laptop. I reinstalled all trusted certificates again, but it still isn't working - any clue which certificate is being used? Thank you for any assistance!

I wanted to let you know that if I plug my laptop directly into my router, Blenderkit works fine, but over Wifi, I get the certificate error - doesn't make sense since it still goes through the same router - but just wanted to let you know in case you have any insights as to why.
