Thank you for your report. Unfortunately, Blender 2.90 and later do not support CUDA rendering on macOS because Nvidia discontinued the development of the CUDA Toolkit for macOS. The last version that was release for it was 10.2 .

CUDA 10.2 (Toolkit and NVIDIA driver) is the last release to support macOS for developing and running CUDA applications. Support for macOS will not be available starting with the next release of CUDA.

Hence current Blender version do not allow to use GPU rendering on macOS. This is documented in the [release notes ]] and [ https:*docs.blender.org/manual/en/dev/render/cycles/gpu_rendering.html#gpu-rendering | the manual .

NVIDIA GPU rendering on macOS is no longer supported. Apple dropped support for CUDA drivers in macOS 10.14, and no recent Apple hardware uses NVIDIA graphics cards.

GPU rendering is only supported on Windows and Linux; macOS is currently not supported.
