System Information (Was tested in different computers with the same result)
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.22000-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: AMD Radeon(TM) RX Vega 10 Graphics ATI Technologies Inc. 4.5.14761 Core Profile Context 21.30.22 30.0.13022.3

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.93.8, branch: master, commit date: 2022-02-01 21:14, hash: blender/blender@09da7f489a
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Addon Information
Name: Node Wrangler (3, 38)
Author: Bartek Skorupa, Greg Zaal, Sebastian Koenig, Christian Brinkmann, Florian Meyer

Short description of error
On the Shader editor, while clicking "Ctrl + Shift + T"on the"Principled BSDF"and importingUDIM tiles it will just import the first tile (1001)
tile detection neither works if you drag and connect the file "tile 1001", so it might not be only a node wrangler bug and also be a Blender 2.93.8bug.Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Get a model/s with UDIM UVs
  • Get Udim textures named correctly
  • Import model into blender
  • Use Shader Editor
OPTION 1 (using the addon Node Wrangler) do Ctrl + Shift +T while clicked the Principled BSDF and select the first texture tile of the UDIM
OPTION 2 (Blender Vanilla) Drag, drop and connect the first tile to the principled BSDF

This has been reported before, see #93496 (Node Wrangler UDMIN Principle Texture Set Up Not Recognizing UDIMS), but is not considered a bug (but a feature request)

It is on the list blender/blender#72390 (Improve UDIM functionality).

So thx reporting, but will have to close since there is no need to track this in multiple places.
