Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

On the one hand it's more like reporting a TODO, on another hand current documentation is indeed quite bad.

@Sergey Is there already a documentation todo list containing such things somewhere? AFAICT the todo list is the open tasks page.. In which case this is good have here

What about this page here: https://www.blender.org/manual/animation/editors/timeline.html? it seems pretty thorough, although in completely the wrong place.
In fact this entire directory might be a redundancy: https://www.blender.org/manual/animation/editors/
If I understand things correctly the editors page is meant for the UI of the editors and the other pages are for there functionality
