Pagename: compositing/types/matte/cryptomatte
Pagename: render/layers/passes

The crypto matte node page explains how to remove or add crypto layers, but I couldn't find any documentation about what crypto layers are or how many you need to have or to connect. In the layer passes page these layers are not mentioned at all.
