Editors without own section #82961

In Editors section, there are a couple of editors without their own section:

  • Compositor
  • Video Sequencer

When you click on them it just takes you to /compositing or /video_editing respectively. If you look at the left-hand side index you see that entries are duplicated (in /compositing and /editors/compositor, for instance). That's because it's just referenced from one section to the other.

This is a bit confusing, and it breaks the continuity of the Next --> button. If you are reading the manual head to toe you end up dragged out of Editors and into Compositing.

I think it would be better to have a simple intro page for each of these two editors with a brief introduction and a picture, along with a link to the appropriate 'for more information' section (compositing or video editing).

There is a similar thing the other way round: in /movie_clip, Movie Editor links back to /editors/clip.
