I dont see it in the dev [3.1] version of the manual anymore https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/dev/modeling/geometry_nodes/point/index.html

But true, for 3.0 this was already removed and it is still there:

This is strange because the docs do not exist in the repository either, I am looking into possible issues with the build pipeline resulting in pages not getting deleted from the web server.

I never could figure out what happened here but newer versions of the manual no longer have these pages, so im gonna consider this resolved.
