Short description of error

Image sequence loaded in an Image Texture node doesn't animate when in a node group

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Open Blender.
Switch to Shader Tab.
Use current material and add an Image Texture node and plug it in the BSDF node.
Load an Image Sequence and set its corresponding number of frames. Enable Auto-Refresh.
Press spacebar to animate. It animates correctly.
Select the Image Texture node and CTRL+G to create a node group.
The image sequence doesn't animate.

Hi, thanks for the report. Looks same as #99932 (Regression: Video in node group doesn't play)
I'm closing this as duplicate. Don't hesitate to comment if you think this is a different issue, I'll reopen the report in that case.

Yes it seems very similar. I searched for "image sequence" before opening a ticket. I didn't think about the "video" keyword. Sorry about that.
Although I would add that the issue seems to exist since the 3.2.0. So something changed between 3.1.2 and 0.3.2. I hope it helps.
