Regression: Hiding face sets in sculpt mode doesn't work with modifiers #100480

Short description of error
While in sculpt mode you can assign face sets. When pointing at a face set and press H, it will hide all other face sets.
Since recently this is no longer possible when using modifiers on an object.
It will then not affect the visibility of the face sets, but instead display the faces without a face set (white) in another color.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Enter sculpt mode
  • Use the Draw Face Set brush to assign each face of the default cube a different face set
  • Add a subdiv modifier
  • Point at any face set and press H

After pressing Alt H it might start to work as intended.
