Weird artifacts when add image and put depth option in "back" #100517

System Information:
Operating system: Windows 10
Graphics card: AMD RX570 8Gb

Blender Version: 3.2.2
Broken: 3.2.2, bcfdb14560r7, master, 2022-08-02

Description of error:
Artifacts like colour pixels appear if we change the depth of an image to "back"

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error:
Add an image (can be reference or background) and go to "object data properties" then in "depth" click in the option "back".

Solution:
Going to Preferences / Viewport / Quality and deselect the option "Smooth Wires" solve the problem but i don't think this is how it's supposed to work

Important:
Blender is in default settings, Steam and downloable version have the same problem.

Oh my God! Thank you very much for solving the problem. The fact is that I am a beginner and I didn’t even have an idea where to look for it, since I haven’t fully figured out the program yet. I sent a lot of requests to Google and could not find anyone with the same problem. After 1 hour I found your post. Thanks a lot for the fix!
