System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19043-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: Radeon RX 570 (driver: 22.8.1)
Blender Version
Broken: 3.2 caused by

Worked: 3.1
This issue appears with AMD driver 22.7.1 and 22.8.1, no issue with 22.5.1. Looks like another one of those cases 3.2 EEVEE updates are not working well with new AMD drivers, like #100034.
Short description of error
Volumes created from VDB and Geometry Nodes show artifacts in EEVEE.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
EEVEEVolumeArtifacts.blend
(For VDB, I used one of the sample files from OpenVDB site .)

@mano-wii , can you check with your AMD-GPU?
Changed status from 'Needs Triage' to: 'Confirmed'
I can confirm the problem.
Although it depends on the hardware, it appears to be a regression as this issue is not seen in version 3.2.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2022-02-24 21:51, hash:
7d7dd66ba7
Bisecting is going to be a bit tricky due to a crash that happens in most versions of 3.2 and 3.3 and has probably been fixed in

Before looking into this one. Does the issue also appears when doing a clean install of the driver. I have seen several cases where this fixes the issue.
Tried a clean install of 22.10.2, and the issue still appears.
I am able to reproduce the issue. Forgot that it works fine in Workbench.
