Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 516.94

Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.4.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2022-09-24 17:57, hash: 4e7983e073
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
Hello,

When I render an image and close the window I lose the images of my asset browser library. These images turns into grey icons.
I noticed that when I change the mode of my viewport from 3d_viewport to Image editor, I will get the images back in the asset browser.
However when I pick another library in my asset browser I lose again these images and get grey icons.

I also had the problem with Blender version 3.2 and 3.3.
Please have a look at the attached screenshot for more details.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Thanks for the video, indeed it seems to be a bug.
But to confirm and forward to developers, we still need a simple .blend file to reproduce the problem.
I'll try to create this file for a week, but if you can provide a .blend file it would speed things up.
