The newer C++ makes a mess of the textures uv mapping when importing some models. The Python obj importer imports the same model fine.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Import the attached (zipped) obj file using both python and C++ importer, and examine the uv maps.

The source file was exported from SweetHome3D, and maybe they are doing something wrong. The Python importer working perfectly makes me think the issue is in the C++ importer though.
