Auto IK stops working with more than one rig #102750

System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19043-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 516.94

Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.4.0 Beta, branch: blender-v3.4-release, commit date: 2022-11-21 01:31, hash: 24bd2d0bea
Worked: This problem has always occurred at some point in work, I can't think of a time where I've been consistently able to use auto IK for an entire project.

Short description of error
Auto IK stops working entirely and only grabs the current bone instead of the whole chain.
Whenever I animate more than one rig in blender with auto IK, auto IK starts only selecting the end bone instead of the whole chain. Nobody seems to notice or say anything about this problem but it has been horribly pervasive and frustrating whenever your scene gets more complex than a single rig.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
I'm really unsure of which step caused this to happen as, but it happens mostly in larger scenes and persists between saving and reloading. The only way out of it that I've seen is completely cloning the whole scene.

The only way I have found to stop this from happening is to copy everything and paste it into a new scene. I still have no idea why.
