Short description of error
This is not consistent, for example I'm not achieving to recreate it, however I have a file that won't let me select channels.
There was a similar bug not a long time ago so I guess it's related, https://developer.blender.org/T100093

Hi, thanks for the report. I'm able to select channel in left panel of Graph editor (tested in 3.5)
Do you have latest copy of 3.5?: https://builder.blender.org/download/daily/
I downloaded the latest 3.5, here I made a small video to explain
When I double click x,y,z locations channels it won't select all keyframes
When I double click rotation channels it will select the keyframes
Hopes it helps

I can reproduce the issue. It seems it started in 3.3. But I can't reproduce it from scratch for some reason, only in the provided file. Can you provide some steps for reproducing the issue from scratch?
Idk how/when exactly it happens, sometimes when I move channels (Page Up/Down) or add rotations keyframes before location keyframes it becomes buggy.
It happened on new files
I still can't reproduce on a new file. It would be great if you can find more concise steps to reproduce that. If you can't, that's fine, we will try to do that ourselves.
Yeah sorry, I'm not sure. I'll try to find but for now I don't know

To repro: just add an annotation and you will run into the issue.
So will confirm and check on a fix.
