Blender Version
Broken: 3.4 (it breaks the file)
Worked: 3.3
I've been having a miserable time with Blender ever since version 3.4 came out. Version 3.4 is crashing all time, as I described in this post here: https://developer.blender.org/T103461
And I can't roll back my files because ever since this update came out, every single mix node that I try to open on the former version is broken (showing if red as an empty node). So I can't work on version 3.4, and I can't go back to 3.3. Needing to rely on an old backup, I had to keep my project rolling. Since I, unfortunately, noticed the crash only weeks after updating to 3.4.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
1 - Have any material using mix colour or any other node that mixes things, save it in Blender 3.3
2 - Open the file in 3.4, and save it.
3- Try to open it in 3.3. The nodes inside the materials will be broken.

The comment by Miguel Pozo here has a screenshot of exactly how the broken nodes look like when we try to open a 3.4 file in 3.3

It is a known thing, and cant be considered a bug since you open files from a newer version in an older one...

Hello. Just replace the red nodes with new nodes. It's not a bug, it's just a developer's choice... So yeah, it doesn't need to be fixed.

Hi, this is not a bug. Please check release notes: https://wiki.blender.org/wiki/Reference/Release_Notes/3.4#Compatibility

Wow! That is huge. What is the reason for doing something like this? Does this mean you can't save materials in Asset Browser and expect them to work in versions lower than 3.4?
Be nice if someone would write an addon that would auto-replace all the non-defined nodes with the proper mix node.
