Hi, thanks for the report. Do you get the crash with default cube?
If not, please attach .blend file.
EEVEE Render Mode and especially with animation playing{F14114974}
Thanks. No crash here.
Could you share crash logs?: https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/dev/troubleshooting/crash.html#macos
Blender Crushes Every Time when I start Render Hair EEVEEto Crash when Rendering Hair in EEVEEAdded subscriber: @Michael-Parkin-White-Apple

Same problem here with 3.4.1 on an M1 Max. Adding 10,000 strands to the default cube causes a crash after one or two EEVEE renders. The regression seems to happen in 3.4.0, since I can't get 3.3.3 to crash over many renders. I'll be glad to provide more information if it helps. crash-report.txt

Could you please also confirm whether this is happening with the Metal or OpenGL backend with the 3.5.0 alpha build?
I've tested locally on an M1 Pro with Metal and am unable to reproduce (3.5.0 alpha
7241ab6ede
).Thanks!
I get a perfect render on the
7241ab6ede
build for both the cube render and the more complex render that initially triggered the bug for me. Thanks for checking that!@Michael-Parkin-White-Apple hi, I guess its OpenGL backend because 3.4 is the mentioned blender version (support for metal backend is for 3.5+)
Sorry for missing the question. No crash on either the OpenGL or the Metal backend with the 3.5.0 alpha build.
@PratikPB2123 Just wanted to narrow down whether the issue was still occurring in 3.5, and whether it also happened with the differing API, as it could help identify the nature of the issue. But thanks for confirming! (Just wanted to determine whether this was something I would be able to help with or not)

Right.
@Kovalex, can you test the file again in 3.5 build?: https://builder.blender.org/download/daily/
and with both Metal-OpenGL backend
No activity for more than a week. As per the tracker policy we assume the issue is gone and can be closed.
Thanks again for the report. If the problem persists please open a new report with the required information.
