Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.5.0 Beta, branch: blender-v3.5-release, commit date: 2023-02-15 14:59, hash: 1116d821dc5f
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
The new user interface brings me an inconvenience to switch between the HDRi scenes.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
In order to check the quality of my sculpt, I have to Frequently change the HDRi scene with different lighting condition. The frequency of the change can be more than 10,000 times.

The new user interface in 3.5 Beta brings me an inconvenience to switch between the HDRi scenes, because a new compositor tab is located on the top of the menu, so that I have to move my mouse in a longer distance to change the scene.

Imagine that you do this change for more than 10,000 times, then you will feel that it is tedious to move your mouse in a longer distance to change the scene.

I suggest that the less frequently used feature should be placed on the bottom of the menu, instead of on the top of the menu. Thank you!

Hi, thanks for the report. Compositor panel is still at the bottom of shading popover in current 3.5
Could you check again in recent build?: https://builder.blender.org/download/daily/

Hi thank you for commenting!

I have just tested the current 3.5 Beta, and the result is the same as the following screenshot:
loading 3.4 setting.jpg
The Compositor panel is shown on the top.

The location of the Compositor panel is affected by my setting. For newly installed 3.5 beta, if I click "Load 3.4 setting" on the Splash screen, then the compositor panel will be shown on the top.

If, afterwards, I click "File" -> "New" -> "Sculpting" to start a new session, so that the setting from 3.4 won't affect this new session, then the compositor panel will be shown on the bottom. (See the screenshot below)

Please note that:
In 3.5, I clicked "Load 3.4 setting" on the Splash screen;
In 3.4, I clicked "Load 3.3 setting" on the Splash screen;
In 3.3, I clicked "Load 3.2 setting" on the Splash screen;
In 3.2, I clicked "Load 3.1 setting" on the Splash screen;

So in 3.5, the setting is probably and actually from 2.90.

Hi, I replaced userprefs and startup file of 3.5 with old blender versions but still unable to repro as shown in screenshots.
Could you share your userprefs and startup blend files?

This panel is inconsistent between Cycles and Eevee, I'll put the compositor settings at the bottom in both.
