"Input Pending" for Loop Cut and Slide when called from menu. #106157

Caused by: da2ba40268

Reproducing the error:

  • Ctrl+R on default cube edit mode, regardless of selection mode, loop cut slide works as usual.
  • Use search menu or header->edge menu and select loop cut slide, header bar only shows "Input Pending", if pressed left mouse, then operator runs correctly. If pressed right mouse, then operator is cancelled.

Can confirm the behaviour. Not sure if this is the intended behaviour tho, needs more inspection or input from modelling developers.

This might be due to operator needing a region/ScrArea that's the 3D viewport to work on, however when testing with 3.5, you can't click the other viewport when you triggered that operator from the menu, so the "Input Pending" isn't quite for "choosing which viewport you want to do the loop cut in", also it doesn't affect anything in quad either. cc @ideasman42
