System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19041-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: Radeon RX 570 Series ATI Technologies Inc. 4.5.0 Core Profile Context 22.Q4.221025

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.93.2, branch: master, commit date: 2021-08-03 05:58, hash: rB1eb06de2607a
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
The problem that after I bake the normal it appears different than the original
,Is this a bug ? , and why it appears different .

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Open blender
  2. Go to the shading window
  3. Select The cube
  4. Add normal map image connect it to the normal map after you add it , Then to the BSDF node
  5. create image to bake to it and select it
  6. bake the normal and see the result

The strength of both normal map nodes = 1 if it is not clear in the video.

Can you set up a test scene with a normal map image for us to try out? From the look of your video, it seems that whatever source of your normal map might not be normalized or it has overflowing values that could be technically incorrect (like the length of the normal being not 1, etc), so it's not quite possible to determine what problem there is exactly without your file setup. Thanks!

Can confirm the issue, reproducible in up to 3.6 as well.

Tried to find out the pattern, looks like baked normal map has B channel clamped to around [0.85, 1] instead of [0.5, 1]. I'm not sure how exactly things work with baking normal map on a already normal mapped object, maybe the result is expected, as it's mostly just affecting regions around the very deep gaps. Maybe rendering guys should take a look.
