Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
for some reason today i cant seem to find the option for smd and qc files

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
so im and avatar creator for VRchat and well the avatars i make only ue smd and qc file and today that option is not showing up and i not alone on this my friend who makes avatars like i do is having the same problem, and it wont let me force import it either, can u pls fix this or me and thousands of others are moving platforms.

The "Import" list shown in your capture is the default list that comes with every new Blender installation.

I'm fairly certain that you installed an addon to import SMD files. Have you tried reinstalling the addon? Like this one: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Blender_Source_Tools

I'm not certain that it is possible to guess why an addon you installed stopped working today. Does it work if you reinstall it? If not you might want to contact the addon author.

I'm not certain that it is possible to guess why an addon you installed stopped working today. Does it work if you reinstall it? If not you might want to contact the addon author.

well here the thing if i remember right i didnt download a addon it was already with it when i installed it
