Normals on faces/vertices are not antialiased:

To see them, enable them at the bottom of the 3D Viewport Overlay popover:

So according to the best of my understanding the way that the normals are drawn is quite different from the way the axes are drawn, and I've been advised to avoid changing them for now.

Questions is, do we tackle other similar issues for now, or try to take on the normals.
Do you know where in the code they're drawn? Might be useful to start by understanding how the code is.

I also think that it might be useful to open a list of tasks, and add onto it whenever we find another component that needs to be anti-aliased (instead of opening unique issues each time).

If you can further elaborate on the issue, I'd be happy to continue working on it, but I abandoned it for long enough that @Erina-Koomen should definitely have priority over me :)
