Stereoscopic render - Convergence Plane doesn't show in the cameraview while in viewport #108536

Short description of error
Convergence Plane doesn't show in the cameraview while in viewport. It work when the mode is in Toe-in but not in off-Axis.
I made the exact same steps in 3.4 and it works.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Render engine : Cycles
  • Output properties : stereoscopy
  • Objecte data properties :
    - Lens type : panoramic
    - Panorama type : Equirectangular
    -Stereoscopy
    - Mode : Off-Axis
    -Convergence Plane : doesn't change in the cameraview but we can see the plane in the viewport

[Based on the default startup .blend file (as simple as possible)]

Can confirm. In Convergence Plane mode the viewport should also show convergence. Will check.

I don't think stereo rendering would work anyway for panoramic? Since if the viewer rotates, then the entire scene doesn't match the viewpoint anymore.

I always did this and used a VR headset and it worked well every time.

Also even if we can not see the convergence in the camera view, after rendering it seams to work as intended
