System Information
Operating system: macOS 12.3
Graphics card: AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8GB

Blender Version
Broken: 4.0 alpha, 7372b3bdda, master 2023-06-01
Worked 4.0 alpha, 69ae7500d0, master 2023-05-31

Caused by: 50bfe1dfe3

Short description of error
The Delete Geometry node sometimes does not delete mesh elements properly when the domain (first setting) is set to face / edge.

This is most obvious when deleting a single edge or face of a mesh, though results seems to vary depending on the number of connected mesh elements and number of selected adjacent elements. For example deleting just the corner face of a mesh grid works but not the side or interior faces.

Setting the second setting to "Faces" or "Only Edges and Faces" gives correct behaviour, but obviously doesn't delete vertices, which "All" is meant to do.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. In geometry nodes add a Mesh Circle node with Fill Type set to "Triangles"
  2. Connect the mesh circle to a Delete Geometry node and change the top setting from to either "Face" or "Edge"
  3. Add an index node followed by a compare node set to Integer and Equal, wired into the Selection input of the delete geometry node. Notice that none of the geometry is deleted.
