Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
When editing curves there appear to be blue rectangular/triangular flashes coming from the curve and to infinity.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Create curve and edit the points.
[Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible)]

This is likely a problem with Metal, try setting graphics backend to OpenGL in your user preference and see if the same thing occurs? Thanks!

I'm unable to reproduce this locally, but I believe it may be an add-on issue? As I see you have a few Add-ons enabled with the side panel. If you can let me know which it is, I can take a look.

It's possibly an add-on which has not been updated to be compatible with Metal (if it used Geometry shaders, or the old shader interface for example).
