Short description of error
Blender Crashes when applying a Data Transfer modifier to an object that has two or more shape keys. Alternatively crashes when entering edit mode after applying or removing UV layer or doing a similar adjustment to mesh data.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Works fine before 3.6.0, had some instances where it would apply fine but would crash immediately after I tried doing anything with the object to which I applied the modifier like going into edit mode or deleting a UV layer.

I tried it on some 4.0 version I had laying around initially it was crashing, but trying it on the latest at the moment seems to be working as expected, no crashes. Is there any plan to backport this? Thanks!
