Color output of Keyer node in Viewport Compositor is incorrect #110281

Short description of error
The keyer node in the GPU viewport compositor drastically changes the color of the greenscreen image after keying, past what would be expected from a despill process.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Load the attached blend file.
  • Go to the Compositor tab and note that the output of the Viewer node when attached to the Image output of the Keying node is correct.
  • Then go to the Layout mode and enable the Viewport Compositor. Note that there is a large change of output color and background removal between these two nodes, without any corresponding change in the compositor node tree.

The color space is set to Standard in both cases so should not affect the output change.

Can confirm the result from compositing and viewport compositor is different.

Changing color management to Raw seems to solve the green-screen key issue, but the resulting color will look different than in compositor. From fiddling it does look like a de-spill issue, although the de-spill is still effective to some extent.
