Short description of error
If you try to make an unwrap on the Monkey (it is only an example) blender gives you an error "Unwrap failed to solve...."
Conformal works fine, the problem is on Angled Based.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open file 110729
Press U to unwrap
I can't reproduce the issue here. Does it fail with seams anywhere? or do they have to be marked in a particular way? if so please provide .blend file.
I see the problem too, it seems that angle unwrap fails when trying to unwrap more than two faces at a time
This issue didn't happen a few days ago, it was possible since 2.4x to select a few faces and unwrap, without adding seams
Even if seams are added it keeps failing
Hi!
Here is the blend.
It only happens in "make" build. Daily build works fine.
I add this information.
Daily build on Ubuntu, same problem.
Attached video.
I add one more demo!
It is easy to see the problem here.
2 polygons works fine, but 3 gives error.
Video attached.
Unwrap angle based error.to Regression: Unwrap angle based fails with seams.I had to do a lot of skipping when bisecting, but seems that

is first bad commit.CC @Chris_Blackbourn
I have also bisected error message displayed and this started somewhere between

@iss i usually compile using "make update" "make release", is there a way to do a "make "un - update""? or something to build to an early state, relatively simple im not a developer, instead of the last, so i could help a bit more narrowing where the bugs started
you can
git checkout sha1-of-your-choice
to switch to earlier state. But there is chance it won't compile due to library updates if you go too much into past.make lite
could help then.any news on this bug? what happen with @Chris_Blackbourn? did his contract end or just taking vacations?
