Short description of error
Workbench does not display sculpt texture paint canvas

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
from the default startup file:

have Sculpt Texture Paint experimental Preference ON
go to sculptmode
select the Paint brush
on the Canvas Picker in the header, add a texture paint slot (just default Base Color texture in e.g Material mode, give it a color to more quickly see the bug)
nothing shows up in the viewport
change to texture paint
see it working

I don't see the Canvas menu in the header.

Maybe it's some kind of detection issue?

I downloaded a pre-Workbench-Next build and the Canvas menu is in the tool settings instead.

Fixed. I get a crash when I try to draw a brush stroke, but it seems unrelated to this issue.
It happens on EEVEE as well.

I also noticed that the Image mode (ie. not Material) and other things don't seem to work correctly, but it was the same before Workbench Next.

Kind of expected being an experimental feature, I guess.
