Blender Version
Broken: (example: 2.80, edbf15d3c0, master, 2018-11-28, as found on the splash screen)
3.5
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)
I only have 3.5 to work with on my computer so don't know if this works in other versions.

Short description of error
Blender evee or cycles won't render an animation, I can render a still by hitting f12 but animation won't render.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).
Sorry this is complex file around a gig but I run much more complex files in other programs Rhino and Unreal 4.27.

I hit render animation either from the menu or hotkey and nothing happens. It's like blender just dies but I can render a still with no problem. I think there is a bug in your file path awareness I ran into a bug today where a file is reported by blender to not exist on a drive but then I can open it from the menu something is messed up with file locations and I think that is what is kicking in on this animation seems blender can't find a drive to write to but for a still works fine.

Hi, thanks for the report. Did you notice render progress in status bar or statistics info?
If render is failing, some error must have generated at statistics area or in console: Window > Toggle System Console

Hi Pratik,
Thanks for getting back to me so promptly and for your console suggestion. I ended up using the info window,
It did show an error message saying divide by 2 error.

Argh I must have accidentally added a 1 to 1920 making it 1921.
So the fix was simple I just had to set render settings back to 1920 by 1080 and now all is fine and I am back to rendering animations.

User error but I was taken aback because Blender rendered a single image or frame using f12. Maybe this needs some tweaking?
Now that I know of the console window and info window I'll check more thoroughly next time.

Thanks for your help and suggestions,
RM

For me, changing resolution still renders the scene without division error.
Will close anyways if bug is fixed now. Some interference of other settings/add-on could have caused it.
