System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19045-SP0
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti/PCIe/SSE2

Blender Version
Broken: 3.6.5, branch: blender-v3.6-release, commit date: 2023-10-16 14:30
Worked: Not known

I expect this is user error so apols in advance.

Setting up multi-view cameras for output to multi-layer EXR creates the right camera renders (visually-confirmed using Render Result ViewLayer).

The issue is that when opening the resulting EXR the view for the first camera in the list is that for the last camera in the list. All other camera views are as expected, including the view for the last camera.

Steps to reproduce the issue:
Using the startup scene, alter the default cube so each face can be identified, or exchange it for Suzanne.
Add some extra cameras at obvious angles, e.g. front, side, top.
Switch Stereoscopy on in Output Properties and select Multi-View
Unselect the left and right cameras
Add the new cameras using the +button for "Add Render View", using their suffixes as names.
For each camera in the list set "_suffixname" as the "Camera Suffix"
Set up output to OpenEXR MultiLayer
Change "Views Format" to "Multi-View"

See attached blend file for such an example. On opening the resulting EXR the first view for me is the view from the last camera, all other views are as expexted.

I would be glad to use the per-camera individual png option but the issue logged here #49444 affects my workflow.

Again, apols if this problem is the user!

Can confirm.

All is still good looking at the render (after F12) in the Blender render window.
But after saving the EXR and opening again, the issue shows.
