Short description of error
I have a simple alembic file imported into blender. I have added a keyframe to the 'Override Frames' input, however this keyframe is not visible on the timeline or graph editor.

OK, the dopesheet can actually show keyframes:

  • have to be in Dope Sheet mode (not Cache File !)
  • have to disable Only Show Selected ?!

Reg. the Only Show Selected (this is probably because caches can influences multiple objects, code cannot tell which objects are affected)

just had a quick dive into the code and it seems like the "Cache File" mode is not implemented.
in the meantime, you can filter down to only cache file like this
