Recent search hit in specific categories like modifiers affect the global most recent search value.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Open new Blender file.
In Modifiers tab, search for any modifier and add it using the new "search any named menus" feature.
In the 3D viewport, hit F3 or the equivalent global search hotkey.

@Harley What do you think about this issue? Looking quickly at the code I have no idea where the string is stored, so not sure how exactly this works, but I suspect this would happen in older versions too, so not sure if I would classify as bug.

I can confirm. This is caused by cea02c15f8 in attempt of restoring the old behavior.
I think we don't need a "last searched item" in search field anymore because recently searched items are already prioritized in the list below.
I'll remove it.
