Short description of error
Unable to find a way to change the active asset_library_reference of custom asset-shelf using python
And path of it are to long to display in python tip(I noticed there is a new region call assetToolShelf, but can not found any api here)
I wonder if there is a simple way to access the properties just like what have done in the asset library editor
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
asset_library_reference
from python apiHi, thanks for the report. I didn't quite understand the problem. Are you unable to create new "asset library" from python?
Or do you have difficulties in accessing the existing custom library in asset shelf?
Year, I want to accessing the existing custom library in the asset shelf ( Is there a way to use python to set it in the asset tool shelf?)
Ah ok, this is new for me. I'll have to check as well.
it seems you're creating a new asset shelf.
I'm not sure how to tweak
asset_library_reference
of existing pose_library and sculpt asset-shelf from python.Yeah a new assetshelf., If it is not possible to set it while init, can it be tweaked in the ui interface? It seems that the property is store somewhere in the screen, just like the
space_data.shading
Not sure if I understand this.
As far as I understand your report. you're looking for a way to tweak the
asset_library_reference
of custom asset-shelf using python, right?Yes, that's right. Also I am confuse about usage of
asset_library_reference
in bpy.types.AssetShelfThanks. Need @JulianEisel 's assistance here.
[Python API] Custom AssetToolShelf define asset_library_reference not workto Python API: Can not change active library in Custom AssetToolShelfThanks. Maybe the toggle way of the cataglory is also need
Any progress? It's been a week
@PratikPB2123 It has been a month, will there be any progress?
@JulianEisel
@1029910278 hi, I guess Julian is on holidays? No need to flood the task with constant mentions 🙂
