Delete Branch "%!s(<nil>)"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
I have Blender on my notebook installed in 3.6 LTS on Debian.
I had to rollback from 4.0 to 3.6.5 due to plugin incompatibility.
When I rolled back I noticed that the operator panel won't open as always. (See screenshot)
I disabled all addons but that didn't help. Only when I remove all config files and startup with a fresh profile, the operator panels works. But as soon as I add an addon the panel becomes unusable.
Hi, thanks for the report. Bug has been fixed already in 3.6 branch: #114536 /
e0492754fe
3.6.6 release is scheduled this week but you can try it today from: https://builder.blender.org/download/daily/
Hi, I just downloaded 3.6.6 and I cannot confirm that it has been fixed. Dont need to reupload image, because its the same as initially posted.
Hmm, strange. I'll check again.
Is there a way to debug it on my side? So I could send you the log if that helps.
Checked again in recent 3.6.6, redo panel is drawn correctly. Could you share the affected file that was saved in 4.0?
Also check if you can replicate this bug in 3.6 with the faulty file after factory reset:
File > Defaults > Load Factory Settings
You can check the console (
Window > Toggle System console
) but otherwise a debug build from source code is required to investigate the problem further.Unfortunately I cannot share the file.
I made a factory reset and the bug still persist with 3.6
And you are right, I dont have trouble when I open a new file.
So it seems that my file got corrupted? Any way to fix that?
Maybe. But a .blend file would have help here.
Can you recreate the situation with following steps:
I can confirm the steps above.
Opening the new file from 4.0 to 3.6.6 opens the panel fixed, but it wont with 3.6.5.
Should I save my file in 4.0 and then switch back to 3.6.6? how should I save the file after that?
You can try that but I'm not sure whether that will fix the redo panel drawing.
Seems like it worked. I opened and saved my file in 4.0 and reopened it in 3.6.6. Looks good to me now!
Thanks for your fast support!
Good to know, closing then
