Red blue or green glitches keep showing up everywhere at higher view distance #115384

I'm running Windows 11 with an RX 6700 tx with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 6-core Processor running Blender 4.0.1

To get this out of the way first, this issue happens mostly at high render distance, This is mostly bad for people that crank up the view to high numbers for clouds for whatever I'm guilty of this (15000000 m where it's somewhat noticeable) 1Weird red green, and rarely blue areas show up when moving the cameras. Colors show up in the respective color angle of their axis color (green shows on Y and -Y and red shows on X and -X). This glitch only occurs when "Shows overlay" is enabled. From what I see, the glitch only seems to be caused by the angle you are facing, and is disconnected from your location in your project. (aka you could be anywhere in the world but the glitch only happens depending weareare facing.) this doesn't only happen in solid mode, as long as you can see the outlines you will see the glitch. (evee Cycles etc.) It also does not project Pacific as many different projects/saves of mine (even new ones) have been affected by this bug.

To remake this issue, you most likely need a recent AMD GPU and spin your view around till you see it appear. is quite common so if conditions are right you should find the glitch.

Hi, thanks for the report. Maybe a known rasterization or view clipping bug. Could you share .blend file?
Try increasing clip start value when viewing from farther distance.
