Worked: Unknown (I didn't have to meet these precise circumstances in previous 4.0.x versions, and I didn't test the betas)
Short description of error
When opening a Blender 3.6.7 project with a shader node group in 4.0.2, the Node Group's Float-type sockets aren't correctly updated, leaving their type undefined, both in the UI (empty Type menu) and through Python ( .socket_type is an empty string). It happens in both very simple sample cases and in complex, nested Node Group ones.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
In a new Blender 3.6.7 project:
Check the settings of the input: the Type shows up empty (and internally as "").
I attach a sample 3.6 project and another with the result of the conversion, plus screenshots of the Interface panel showing the state of a socket before and after opening in Blender 4.0.2.
